Suiryu Flower Scissors

These are ikebana, flower arrangement, scissors. The product name is TMR-6102 Suiryu Flower Scissors 165 mm Ikenobo Style.

Their two blades are grinded like a clam shell shape, which makes it possible to bite into stems with less power and reduces resistance in a cutting motion. They will provide smooth and comfortable cut. That sharp cut does not break plant fibers, which lets arranged flowers suck up water smoothly to keep beautiful appearance longer.

Our flower scissors are made of one of Japanese quality steel, Yasuki Blue Steel #2, which is maily used for expensive cutlery. This metal is superior in wear resistance, contributing to provide sharp cut for long periods of time.

Apart from sharp blades and quality steel, Suiryu Flower Scissors feature their distinctive design; the ends of handles are curbed to hit branches or twigs to promote their water suction, and the pivot is screwed subtly for both easy open and close and easy cut for stems and twigs with different sizes.
